Product overview
Soft Water Tanks
Soft Water Tanks are process water tanks for storage of softened water which are mainly used in industrial and process water installations. These tanks are moulded from MDPE and available in over 45 sizes from 50 litres to 40,000 litres as a one-piece moulded tank.
What is Water Softening?
When mains water contains a significant amount of calcium and magnesium, it is called hard water. Hard water can clog pipes and complicates soap and detergent dissolving in water.
Water softening is the removal of the ions that cause the water to be hard such as calcium and magnesium ions. The best way to soften is to use a water softener unit and connect directly to the water supply.
