Product overview
Effluent Treatment Plant Clarification Tanks
Industrial wastewater treatment is the process used for treating wastewater that is produced by industries as a by-product. After treatment, the effluent may be reused or released to a sewer or to surface water in the environment.
Dirty water (contaminated liquid) enters the tank from the top via a central pipe where particles and sediment sink to the base of the cone. The clean water rises to the top of the tank and flows over launder rings into an outer ‘liner’ from where it is piped away. A PN16 outlet in the cone allows complete flush down and a PN16 flange at the base of the side of cone permits sludge removal. A heavy-duty galvanised support frame together with a top fitting mixing unit is supplied as standard (as the image above).
